To support Maritime UK Week there are a number of ways that Politicians can get involved throughout the week.

Westminster Hall Debate

A Westminster Hall debate, secured by Kevan Jones MP, was held on the maritime sector during London International Shipping Week in September 2021. See the research briefing and Hansard record here.

Visit a local maritime business in your constituency

Maritime Businesses will be open throughout Maritime UK Week for visits from Politicians. This is a great way to meet the poeple behind the maritime sector and learn more about the work that they do in yoour local area.
