In that time, we've become a key provider of Marine Technology expertise throughout the UK, and the world, by building on Glasgow’s rich heritage of naval architecture and shipbuilding. That's why we provide first class graduates and research for the maritime, oil & gas and offshore renewables industries across the world.

Strathclyde offers eight postgraduate MSc courses within the Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering. These include MScs in Marine Engineering, Offshore Floating Systems, Ship & Offshore Structures, Ship & Offshore Technology, Subsea & Pipeline Engineering, Offshore Renewable Energy, Technical Ship Management and Sustainable Engineering: Marine Technology. Strathclyde’s courses are designed to help students develop key skills in engineering for the marine environment and apply them to practical problems both individually and in groups. All our courses are fully accredited by the Royal Institution of Naval Architects and the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology.
