Pride in Maritime Network
Our Pride in Maritime Network was launched in May 2020 as part of the Diversity in Maritime programme.
Aims of the Network
- To help identify barriers to change across the LGBT+ maritime community, and where Working Groups should be focusing efforts
- To ensure that the network consider the whole of the “maritime” sector – comprising shipping, ports, professional services, engineering & science and leisure marine
- To educate and enable individuals and companies to embrace, empower and support the LGBT+ community
- To share resources, good practice policies and toolkits that support the LGBT+ community across the sector.

Through collaboration and partnerships with the LGBTQ+ community in maritime, we create a network grounded in compassion and inclusion, ensuring that every individual can thrive within a supportive and united maritime family."
