Stena Line announced as Diamond Sponsor for the Maritime UK Awards 2024
Maritime UK are delighted to announce Stena Line as a Diamond Sponsor for the Maritime UK Awards 2024, taking place at the world famous Titanic Belfast on 5 June.
The Awards highlight the vital role that maritime plays supporting the UK economy, contributing more than £116 billion yearly and supporting over 1.1million jobs, allowing us to shine a spotlight on the very best of the UK’s maritime sector.
Stena Line is one of Europe’s leading ferry companies transporting 6.5 million passengers with 38 vessels across 18 routes in Northern Europe and employing over 6,100 people.
The company is also the largest ferry operator on the Irish Sea, with the biggest fleet offering up to 240 weekly sailings providing the widest choice of routes between Great Britain, Northern Ireland, Ireland and France.

Winners exhibit tangible efforts in cultivating a diverse workforce, including collaborations with other entities to exchange best practices. This award celebrates their commitment to fostering an inclusive environment within the maritime sector.
The awards, which are open to companies from across the breadth of the maritime sector including its shipping, ports, services, engineering, and leisure marine industries, opened on 13 March and applications are already piling in. Submissions close on 16 April.
