Maritime UK launches National Maritime Awards

Maritime UK are delighted to announce the much anticipated Maritime UK Awards 2024  (MUKA 24) taking place at the world famous Titanic Belfast on 5 June. The MUKAs will be one of the many highlights of the three day ‘Belfast Coastal Powerhouse Summit’, bringing together key stakeholders and partners from across the country to celebrate and promote the very best achievements of this incredible industry.

The MUKAs highlight the vital role that maritime plays supporting the UK economy, contributing more than £116 billion yearly and supporting over 1.1million jobs.

The Maritime UK Awards are a chance for organisations across the UK to demonstrate their incredible work, categories are open to the whole breadth of the maritime sector including shipping, ports, professional services, engineering, and leisure marine industries. 

Application process

The Maritime UK Awards will accept applications from 13 March to 16 April, the categories are as follows:

  • Coastal Powerhouse Award 
  • Diversity and Inclusion Champion Award 
  • Employer of the Year Award 
  • Future Skills Award 
  • Innovation Award 
  • International Trade Award 
  • Maritime Ambassador Award
  • Rising Star Award
  • SME of the Year Award (10-250 employees)
  • Start-up of the Year Award 
  • Woman in Maritime Award
