International Women in Maritime Day Industry Event - Portsmouth

Join the Royal Navy and Maritime UK on Thursday 16th May at HMNB Portsmouth to celebrate International Day for Women in Maritime.

The theme for 2024 is Safe Horizons - Women Shaping the Future of Maritime Safety, and our speakers will include representatives of the RNLI in their bicentennial year, WISTA as they celebrate 50 years, Maritime UK and the Royal Navy.

The programme will commence at 1100 with a walking tour of the Naval Base, before a welcome from Naval Base Commander Cdre John Voyce OBE. Following inspirational speakers there will be an opportunity for a roundtable discussion, networking and a light lunch. The programme will conclude at 1400.
