Meet the Judges: Caroline Price
Caroline is a maritime specialist with over 16 years experience of working across the sector. Having worked as a regulator, in operations and in maritime consultancy she has an in-depth understanding of the challenges and opportunities of delivering success in the marine environment. As Director of Green Ports at Royal HaskoningDHV Caroline heads up a global team of maritime experts in environmental sustainability, operational resilience, business planning and energy efficiency. Together they are actively working to help ports, terminals and shipping around the world to implement changes that inherently improve the sustainability of their operations.
Over the course of her career, Caroline has been consistently involved in the development of marine and environmental policy at UK and international level and has extensive experience in the challenges and opportunities of applying it in practice. Through active participation and engagement in organisations such as PIANC, IMO MEPC and OSPAR Caroline helps to develop guidance that supports the sector in heading towards a net zero future. She has a particular interest in identifying solutions that are deliverable within a competitive commercial climate and is currently the UK representative on the PIANC WG on green funding for sustainable navigation infrastructure.
