'Maritime in the 21st Century' at Maritime Museums

With so much written about Isambard Kingdom Brunel, Lord Nelson and The Titanic, it's important to remember that maritime is not just something from the history books. Today it's one of the country's biggest industries, with an exciting future.

A number of Maritime Museums across the country are participating in Maritime UK Week and will be helping tell the story of maritime today through special exhibitions, sharing information or screening our new videos. These include: Scarborough Maritime Heritage Centre, Dover Museum and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall.
