The Maritime Symposium: Chile
The Maritime Symposium: Chile offers a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for international delegates to meet and network with key Chilean shipowners, ship brokers, bunker suppliers, storage and port operators, agents and other maritime organisations during the highly colourful and exciting national celebrations of the Chilean Navy’s 200th anniversary and the 100th anniversary of Chilean-British naval cooperation.
DAY ONE - WEDNESDAY EVENING
On the eve of the conference, all registered delegates will be invited to attend a VVIP Reception at the British Embassy Residence in Santiago, hosted by the British Ambassador and attended by HRH Princess Anne, the Princess Royal.
This level of access offered to delegates is unprecedented for a bunkering event, anywhere in the world. As a result, places are limited and early registration is essential.
DAY TWO - THURSDAY
We are hosting a high-level one-day conference, on Thursday 29 November, focused on shipping and trade and featuring the IMO’s 2020 0.50% global sulphur cap and its impact on the region. Following the conference there will be a Cocktail Reception sponsored by COPEC.
DAY THREE - FRIDAY
On Friday 30 November, delegates will join an exclusive technical site visit to the Port of Valparaíso, which will include an official behind-the-scenes private tour of British Type-23 Frigate HMS Montrose, hosted by the Royal Navy.
Please note: Due to strict vetting and security clearance procedures to enter the British Embassy and boardHMS Montrose, delegates are advised to register as early as possible. Petrospot cannot guarantee full access to both VVIP events to delegates registering after 9 November.
