Uncious Bias Workshop

The Women in Maritime Taskfroce and Wista UK are hosting a morning workshop looking at how we can overcome Unconscious Bias within ourselves and our organisations.

Unconscious bias might seem like a relatively simple concept but it truly is a Pandora’s box for our age. This is not a problem we can dip into half-heartedly and hope to consider ourselves fixed; instead, we must commit with the full awareness that it will entail a long and difficult journey.  

Delivered by our partners HR Consulting from Spinnaker Global and the t-three group, participants will be engaged in a fully participative workshop looking at:

• Bringing unconscious bias to life – appreciating that we all have biases;
• The benefits of zero bias;
• Where bias comes from; and
• How to challenge our assumptions.

A certificate of attendance will be issued.

This workshop is held in conjunction with Inmarsat.
